I just went for the preoperation checkup for the laser eye surgery. It turned out to be good that I waited the four five months, since now custom lasik is available for me. My eyes got dilated and shiny lights were put right in front of my eye. Other than that it was just like every other eye checkup. I was getting really tired of the "is 1 better or 2. 1 or 2". There was some emergency so the doctor had to leave for a bit, and I ended up at the doctor's office from 4:30-7. After I got out, I promptly got lost heading in every direction but the correct one trying to head north to go to Taste of India to have dinner with ex-Gordiannites. It was fun.
Now I'm fairly well committed to doing the surgery. My eyes are still a bit dilated and working on computers and data sheets is kind of annoying.
